Zoho Inventory · limited pilot

Create the next invoice from what actually shipped.

When one Sales Order ships in stages, Shipped Balance previews only the quantities already shipped and not yet invoiced, then creates a native Zoho Draft for review. You do not have to remove the unshipped lines one by one.

Why Shipped Balance exists

Partial shipments should not turn invoicing into line-by-line cleanup.

On a large partially fulfilled Sales Order, the manual job is not “create an invoice”. It is working out what actually shipped, subtracting what has already been invoiced and stripping everything else out of the next invoice.

How it works

See the simple calculation before anything is written.

This example follows one Sales Order. In plain terms: what has shipped, minus what is already invoiced, becomes the next Draft.

Fit

A good fit when partial shipments create recurring invoice cleanup.

Shipped Balance handles that one step. Your existing Zoho review and invoicing process stays in place.

Good fit

Staged fulfilment is a normal part of the workflow

  • Sales Orders are routinely fulfilled across more than one shipment.
  • Invoices are raised as goods ship, rather than only after the whole order is complete.
  • Staff currently reconcile quantities or remove unshipped lines manually.
  • The cleanup happens often enough that removing it would save useful time.
Probably not a fit

The order normally has no shipped-only balance to reconcile

  • Almost every Sales Order ships complete in one batch or dispatch.
  • You normally invoice the full order regardless of what has shipped.
  • You need automatic sending, payment collection or a replacement accounting workflow.
  • Your setup depends on a configuration the current pilot cannot safely support.
What it does and does not do

It prepares a Draft. It does not take over invoicing.

Zoho remains your accounting system. Your team still reviews the Draft before anything is sent.

Questions

The main things to know about the pilot.

Can I join the paid pilot now?

Yes. The limited pilot is open at £49/month per Zoho organisation. Use the secure Stripe checkout on this page, then complete the onboarding details.

Is Shipped Balance available on Zoho Marketplace?

Not yet. The current pilot is offered directly by ScopeMill.

Does it send invoices automatically?

No. The workflow stops after creating a native Zoho Draft invoice. Your normal review and approval process remains in control.

What does it select for the next Draft?

For supported Sales Orders, it identifies quantities that have already shipped but have not yet been invoiced, then previews those lines before Draft creation.

What if my Zoho workflow is not a fit?

If the onboarding fit check shows that your configuration cannot be supported within the current pilot boundary, ScopeMill refunds the first payment in full and cancels the subscription.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The pilot is monthly with no fixed term. You can cancel future renewals through the Stripe subscription-management route when provided, or by contacting ScopeMill.
